How is the gold price determined?
Global gold prices are set by COMEX gold futures (GC=F) in New York and spot trading in the London Bullion Market (LBMA). Korean retail prices add the USD/KRW exchange rate, 10% VAT, fabrication costs, and distribution margins.

What is the difference between 24K, 18K, 14K, and 10K?
K (karat) measures gold purity. 24K is pure gold (99.9%+), 18K contains 75%, 14K about 58.3%, and 10K about 41.7% gold. Lower karat means less gold and a lower price, but higher durability.
